Sometimes we want to get from A to B as quickly as possible. When we're needed as emotional support for someone close. Or when we're not needed but just want to meet our friends spontaneously on the other side of town. We integrate Uber into everyday interpersonal situations and tell the little and big stories of people who really feel the need to be together quickly.

Uber, therefore, becomes an emotional promise made to another person:

I'll be right there.
